Give up your old board!
We know kids that would be thrilled to have that old clunker AKA unused surfboard you have tucked away in your garage. If you surf in Florida and have multiple thrusters, do a good thing and give us your oldest one and go buy yourself a longboard. You'll get more water time on those shin to knee high days.
Many of the regions we have traveled to throughout Central America have a population of children that have grown up around the ocean but have no way of enjoying it's true gift: the waves.
We constantly encourage people that we meet along the way to consider leaving their surfboard with one of the locals when they travel home. Airlines typically charge $100 each way, the choice to leave a surfboard and not pay the return fee makes sense for everyone.
Ship a board with us
The airlines have made it consistently more expensive to travel with a surfboard. The going rate one way is $100 per board. We need your help getting these boards down to the kids. Donate $100 by clicking the Paypal 'Donate' button below.
Beach Cleanups / Recycle Programs
We also help to coordinate beach cleanups to encourage the locals to keep their beaches clean to protect the ocean wildlife. A simple recycling program has been started in San Juan Del Sur and we are working on getting one going in the surf rich Popoyo Region.
