We believe all people have potential. By maximizing human capabilities, daily experiences become sources of joy. Playing sports improves quality of life, develops character, promotes teamwork & gives youth & adults an inspiration for living. We have heard too many times the stories of people living in dismal, hopeless environments around the world yet their spark of daily hope comes through playing soccer. The outcomes of being involved in the game of soccer are everlasting in promoting mutual respect, unity, and positive relationships. The culture of soccer allows people to gain insight into rewarding connections with peers, family, & community. Passion for the game and people becomes parallel.
Soccer balls, jerseys, shorts, cleats/turfs & socks can be donated to the Peace Passers. This can be done through direct contribution of equipment you have or by organizing a collection drive with your team/community. If you don’t have equipment we also greatly appreciate any funding support you can contribute. There is no greater feeling than passing the love of soccer on to others. We challenge you to participate in putting your used soccer equipment back into play. Thank you for considering our cause.
We accept equipment from all regions of the United States. So far we have received equipment from 26 states so far & still counting: (AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MN, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, SC, TX, VA, WA, WI) - as of Jan 2011.
After receiving equipment we match the donated items up to groups who have identified communities that would otherwise not have access to soccer gear. Most of our distributions are completed through collaborations with mission teams, sports ministries & other global non-profits.
Peace Passers equipment has reached 42 different countries worldwide.
